Why, you ask? Because every morning I wake up in a highly confused state, with barely no memories of all the awesome ideas I had the day before. It's like my brains just rebooted completely, wiping out data they didn't deem worth saving.

When an idea was particularly charged with emotions, or stayed on my mind for quite some time during the day, I will remember it alright, but that's just a small part of the whole package.
Ideally, I should be taking notes of things I want to remember the next day, but just like it happens with dreamlogs, even if I do take notes, it doesn't mean it will still make sense next time I read it.

BUT, today I had this thought: whenever I go to bed angry at someone, I can wake up in the exact same state, as if sleep just put the situation on hold for a few hours. So I guess it's possible to do the same thing using positive energy cores. The problem resides in our lack of ability to maintain positive thoughtlines for as long and as powerfully as we do negative ones.

Anger is a Poison

Being angry at someone is like drinking poison while wishing your enemy gets sick and dies.

It sounds pretty amazing when phrased this way, don't you think?

Being and staying angry is literally poisoning and damaging your system. The negative thought process will hook up huge energy potentials and spin them into your core, until they get self-sustained, and guess what, you stay angry longer. Since there is NO outlet, short of physical or verbal violence/release, the energy keeps spinning with YOU at its center, and in spiritual matters, there is NO "eye of the storm" where you can be safe.
You are the center of your own world, and everything happening inside it has yourself as a target. If the ongoing event is negative in nature, well, you my friend are getting your own "bad vibes".

The ONLY solution (if you don't like going to jail and screwing up your Kharma) is forgiveness and letting go. Forgiveness is tough and requires time and maturity, but letting go can be a quick fix.

Subtle Energies 101

Without going too deeply into this endless topics, I would like to outline the differences between two energy systems quite popular in the West nowadays: Reiki and Chi-Kung/Qi-Gong.

Reiki is a "modern" healing method based on the concept that it is possible to "channel" universal energy (to be properly defined later) through one's body/mind/intention to heal oneself or others. The reason for Reiki's popularity is that it is thought of as being a birthright for every human being alive today, plus the attractive fact that it takes NO time before a beginner is able to start healing oneself and others.

Chi-Kung, or Qi-Gong, depending on how you romanize Chinese script, is the good old martial art inner strength often seen in Kungfu movies, and more seriously, present in some form in most martial arts born in Asia. The extent of Chi-kung and its use in martial arts, martial ways and martial sports is difficult to judge or evaluate, for the true nature of "Chi", or "Ki" in Japanese, stays elusive even today. Science is having a hard time locating it, and the term itself seems to be evading definition. In fact, debating about what is and what is not "Chi" makes its concept even broader, as I will show you later on.

The biggest difference from a beginner point of view is in the amount of time and practice required to get some tangible skills. If Reiki only takes a few days and lots of faith and enthusiasm, Chi-Kung ("The Daily (and continued) Practice of Chi") requires a good 20-30 minutes a day AT LEAST (make that 40min, 3x a day), over a very long period... from 6 months to several years, depending on your background and goals.

This alone makes Reiki very attractive to the eager newbie's eye. Here is what you should know about both systems before you start dabbling into one or both:

"Chi" should be thought of as "energy" in its purest sense, ie. something that has the potential to affect something else, and thus affecting your reality. Note that in Japanese, the character "Ki" is used to categorize words/concepts such as:　Electricity(電気）, Air（空気）, Atmosphere（大気）, Murderous Intent（殺気）, Courage（勇気）, Popularity（人気）, and many many more.
It's in my opinion the only way to merge all the meaning attributed to the term, or chinese character, "Chi". Note that it could fit a description of the word "magic" too.
Bottomline is: if it can affect/change your reality, it's real.

Starting from that angle, "Chi" is linked with reality... physical, tangible reality. It's the Force from StarWars... an energy present in everything, in many forms, which can be changed and adapted to meet one's need, just like Nature's need.. That's how martial artists can break things beyond the simple "weight X speed=destruction power" equation. That's how my dad can endure heavy wooden staff bodyblows without going down or with no noticeable damage later on. That's how animals and kids recover so fast, how "magnetism" can heal you.

Some will say these examples can be achieved through Force of Will and Intent. YES, yesyesyesyesYES!!! That is also "Chi", or some form of "Chi" or some compulsory element that makes it work! "Intent", "Goals", "Purpose" and their siblings are the key, the "Secret" to the power of Chi, and pretty much everything in Life.
Intent allows you to focus energy on the areas of your life that require change. It can be local, it can be remote, and it can be either instantaneous or timeconsuming.
Let's keep this Intent+Energy concept in mind for later.

Due to this link with "physicality" or "local/personal reality", Practical Chi should be thought of as "of the body". What I mean is that there is a strong connection between what martial artists and "old school" healers use to achieve paranormal feats, and the fact that in Yoga and Chinese/Japanese arts, "Chi" gathers in a place called the Hara or Dantien, about an inch/3cm bellow the navel/bellybutton.

Reiki, on the other hand, is usually accessed through energy centers around the chest, or higher on the front of the body. Those of you familiar with Yoga will recognize these energy centers as "Chakra". Now, THAT is a term that's been overused, torn and raped since the early Hippie revolution, but at least the term is now widely known worldwide.
I find very interesting the fact that Reiki and, "higher", subtler energies are accessed through chakras starting at chest level and up. It clearly shows that Reiki is more "of the Heart" or "of the Mind" than good old "Chi", which is more often localised at waist level at lesser levels, and anywhere "in" the body/bodyparts at higher levels, in its traditional martial/magnetism aspects. It shows that Humanity has crossed a bridge where new modalities have become accessible. This also shows a Quickening, an acceleration regarding How Long it takes to do or learn things. Chi-Kung takes years, literally, while Reiki takes days... Going to the Library takes hours or weeks, while Google and Wikipedia take minutes or even seconds.
We ARE evolving, only not in the way Darwin was thinking.

As a result, Reiki (and family) is far more flexible and dynamic than "Chi". I'm having a problem with the repetitive use of the word "Chi", but it will have to do until you read about it in details in other posts. The existence of Reiki doesn't make Chi-Kung obsolete or not worth learning.
On the contrary, I find that my experience in Chi-Kung makes my Reiki even sweeter and easier to "grasp". It's like an investment... every hour spent in Chi-Kung can be directly translated into Reiki experience and growth.

To sum it up for now, please consider this:

Chi is of the body, Reiki is of the Heart. Chi Practice is good for the body, Reiki Practice is good for the Heart/Mind. It's not THAT simple, but it's pretty accurate as far as beginners are concerned. You CAN heal with both, since many physical problems are related to some emotional issue. You CAN'T hurt with Reiki. Simply because the prerequisite for Reiki access is the Heart Center Opening. Meaning that you must be capable of "being a good person" and also "start dealing with your emotional luggage". As seen in martial arts though, you CAN hurt with Chi, simply because Intent leads the energy. Wishing ill to someone is enough to hurt in some way. I humbly suggest some basic Chi-Kung routine everyday, about 20minutes, to keep you in good health. Reiki will take care of your heart and spirituality, but doesn't replace good old stretching and basic work out.

Also, far too many people get satisfied by just reading about Chi or Reiki, but don't really apply it, which makes the a daily Chikung routine a lifesaver.

The IceCube Paradigm of Energy Vs Matter, by AmonRa

Imagine an icecube in water.

Basically the cube and the surrounding liquid are made of the same stuff.
There is a very clear border were water stops being water and becomes ice.

Now, imagine the cube while it's turning into ice. It will eventually become a cube if the container is cubic, but what's interesting is the early stages of the process.

There is a point in space/time where some water molecules start losing heat, ie. energy giving mobility to the electrons. Water crystalizes into ice and starts expanding.

During the process, there are probably 4 main layers: purely liquid water, partially solid water, tender ice, and stabilized ice.
Remember that it's all made of the same stuff: water molecules.

Now, imagine the surface of the water. There's a clear border between the air and the water's skin. It's air, but a millimeter below, it's water.
Imagine that the weather conditions in the air over the water is such that it's hot enough to make the water evaporate. We would have the following layers: liquid water, heavy vapor, light vapor, humid air, and dry air.

Now imagine the limit of the atmosphere at the point where Space begins. You can see the air getting thinner and thinner (ie. less and less gas, less and less matter) until the point where it's just Space... empty space. Well, not empty, just empty of MATTER, but full of energy, as 30% of the scientific community has always discreetly believed, to avoid being shunt by the other 70%.

Now back to the icecube being born.

There are much more layers than the four I described. There is continuous, gradual transformation of water into ice crystals. If you think about ice and water, it makes sense.
If you try thinking in the same way about a fish and the water it lives in, we have a problem. Fish aren't made of water.... ... ... well, yes they are, lol, just as we are made of 70% of water, plus 30% of more solid stuff. Plus, ambiant temperature doesn't allow us to freeze up, so we basically stay water trapped into an elastic container. supported by a solid calcium structure.

But hey, the icecube too isn't 100% water! It contains minerals and whatnot, probably even micro-organisms trapped inside.

Now, in our case, it's human beings inside the atmosphere. So the separation between what's "us" and what's "not us" is obvious. If we lived in water like the dolphins, it would be a tad less obvious, as the universal layers would be: Space, Atmosphere, water, dolphins.

If you think about Matter as Energy, which is the general idea, although please keep in mind that nuclear, thermal, electric, solar energy are to be understood from a scientific point of view, whereas "Chi", "Reiki and "Emotions=Drive=Energy" are more alternative, philosophico-spiritual concepts. There MUST be a point where everything fits in the same universal theory, but it's 2 hours-before-coffee in the morning, and I'm not ready to work on that one yet :D

So, Matter is Energy, compacted or excited or whatever, we don't know yet, but we do know that everything can or could be translated into energy, and that energy is never gone, just changed into some other type of energy. Eventually, that leads to Matter.

So, since our body is made of Matter, but Matter is energy, it's very plausible to think that at the border between our skin and the surrounding air, there might be a thin layer were our bodily Matter is so thin that it still exists as energy. Right next to this energy would be a similar layer made of Air energy, not quite gas, not quite "manifested" as Matter (for lack of... whatever).

So, we could upgrade our paradigm with the concept of thin not-quite-matter-yet layers of energy surrounding actual matter (including gas).

Now, the difference between Matter and that not-quite-manifested energy would be a lack of... energy, lol, or density, or some condition unknown to us. But it's logical to say that in a zone filled with unmanifested energy, soon-to-be-materializing energy would gather and start "existing" as matter... becoming gas, than/or liquid, than/or solid.

So it's not crazy to say that Space, any space, including the one we live in(atmosphere), IS a zone full of unmanifested energy, OR that such places exist, or have existed somewhere in the past, or else Matter wouldn't exist. This is close to the Aether theory that was blown away a long time ago by people believing in the "empty" space+"anti"matter around it+matter theory.

The current official theory thought in school, mind you.
The anti-matter theory is necessary, because mathematics allow us to estimate the energy caused by the BigBang, and Einstein showed that "physical" space (ie. tangible matter) represents only 5% percent (?) of that Energy. Remember E=m.blablablasquareblabla?

That's the one... Energy=mass X lightspeed squared.... whatever that means....

So we might be living in a huge POOL of unmanifested energy, that MANIFESTS itself under certain conditions, and becomes some other forms of energy we are familiar with, such as electricity, heat, or physical Matter, and others we haven't seen yet.

Now, what about LIFE? What's the difference between a rock and the mushroom growing on it?
Some say rocks and crystals are alive, but in a very different timeframe than ours.

Crystals have gender! I bet you didn't know that! There are two ways a crystal can "grow" (and it does grow), two ways they spin while growing, making them.... well, male and female.

But what about the mushroom? And what's the difference between the mushroom and the rabbit eating it?

Motion? Nah... plants move too... slowly.... although weeds move a few inches everyday! Awareness? Nah... plants can feel motion, lifeforms and other plants around them.
Self-awareness? Maybe... but then we have to differentiate Animals versus Humans.
Anyways, since everything up to now was about Energy, how about we make Life a form of energy too?

I'll have to talk later about this guy saying that the sense of touch is the first step toward Self-Awareness, and thus the remaining four senses are not so important compared to Touch. Without Touch there is no awareness of ones surroundings, no communication, no motion.
But that's for an other post.

What I wanted to introduce with the IceCube Paradigm is the concept of Layers and Concentration of energy/matter, and the gradual "thickening" of space.

The Radio Paradigm

To listen to the radio, you need to be able to pick up the radio waves.

Then you need some kind of "tuner" to choose a single frequency among the many broadcasted programs.

Next you need to adjust, to "finetune" that frequency in order to get the clearer sound possible.

Then, you might need a speaker to translate those waves into sounds... a "sound" is a wave of kinetic (=motion) energy that makes air molecules (gas) move away from the origin of the pulse, the "explosion" or "movement" that made the air move in the first place. When the air from far away pushes the air near your ear, you eardrum feels the pressure and translates it into electrical signals that your brain can understand and express to you as sounds.

Note that the electrical signal of the nervous system is a chemical reaction involving minerals in the water contained in your cells, based on the concentration of salt (or something similar) and the difference of salt between one cell to the next. This creates a chain reaction that looks like, or is considered as "electrical". Isn't this fascinating? Your laptop batteries are chemical too... Thunder is kind of chemical reaction too. Everything is linked.

Anyways, the "sound" wave can be physical, ie. Pushing the air away, or "vibrational", ie. making the air molecule resonate, imitating the origin of the sound. It can also rebounds and hit already vibrating waves, making a Harmonic. There also scales of vibrations, like notes on a piano, that vibrate "the same way", that "go well" together, like chords in music.

When you have at last, grabbed the radio wave, tuned it to clarity, sent it to the speaker so that air (or the matter/gas/liquid you live in) can serve as a medium for the waves from the speaker to your ear, and on to your brain, there is still one possibility: turning the volume on, ie. amplifying the original signal to make it even clearer, or make it travel farther.

Note that "tuning/finetuning" and "turning on the volume" can be translated into: "quality improvement" and "quantity of data" (read that again). Amplification means augmenting the data by copying it.

Energy is just like that radio wave. To be aware of a particular type of energy, let's call it NyokiNyoki energy, you need first a device capable of "catching" its frequency.
Then you need to "tune" the reception until you find the NyokiNyoki energy you're looking for, or one that is "pleasant" or "confortable" to receive, experience or use.
Next, you would need to transform the energy into some more easily usable, or more easily visible, experienceable one.
The original signal or "quantity/dose" you caught might not be enough to share it, or send, or stock. So you might need a way to "augment" it. Depending on the energy type, amplification might require time, or compression, or the absence of some other type of energy or whatnot.
Finally, you need a way to "express" or release this energy the way you want it, and that might need yet an other transformation.

Chi and Reiki work that way, and I believe that everything "psychic" too.

You need to be aware of a certain type of "Reiki", sometimes by "turning on" some features of your self or mind, tune or get "attuned" to the specific frequency of that particular "ki" or "chi", learn to finetune it, usually by using it a lot and getting familiar with it, then learn how to stock it (especially in the case of martial arts and Yoga), then learn how to release, use, give and replenish it without endangering your physical, emotional and mental balance.

Just like the radio, there are many many frequencies, that can further be "customized/tuned" a bit away from the original, to become more a part of yourself, reflecting yourself in it.
That makes it basically illimited. As math teachers say: there is infinity between zero and one.
The same way, there is an infinity of "channels" between 76,6Hz and 76,7Hz. That small decimal is small because our receptors, sensing devices are weak and crude. Give us 500 years of evolution and technology will make the receptors mightier and will reveal a whole world between these that 0,6 and 0,7Hz.

This is true for everything.... sounds, taste, colors, moods.... everything.

If you remember the IceCube Paradigm of space filled with layer of gradually or abruptly denser layers, and add this illimited number of frequencies, overlapping themselves in space, just like two piano chords would do, you get a pretty interesting view of Reality, of the World we live in.

Many densities, many frequencies, some taking space into account, some ignoring space and existing together at the space place, lifeforms moving around in some huge energy pool where everything is made of the same basic energy, but has different levels of "concentration", densities that makes various forms, shapes and organisms possible. All of these bathed in electromagnetic (for lack of a better term) waves of yet an other type of energy, subtler type, existing in my frequencies, jumping from one to the next, and more importantly, INTERACTING and INTERLACED with the first type of energy, the one that can turn into Matter, the one the icecube is made of.

I will stop here for now, but let me just say that if the first type of energy can become Matter, than the second type of energy (radio example) can turn into Light. And I mean light in every sense of the term. EVERY.

On Uniqueness

This is a tough one:

You ARE unique. Just as I am, and everybody else.

Only YOU can live your live, ONLY you can play this song, this tune that is your existence.

And when I say "existence", I mean during this lifetime, before and beyond.

In this aspect, we are all beautiful expressions of the big gift and artwork that is Individuality.
This all fits in the greater scheme of Oneness, toward which every "individual" sparks eventually go back. Time is of no importance in this matter... maybe we are in the middle of the project, maybe we've just started, maybe we've already finished once and are enjoying a second ride.
Bottomline is: we know shit about nothing... so everything is remotely possible.

I used to have a biiiig problem interacting with people who think they are "unique" and as such think very highly of themselves. Well, I learned the hard way that they ARE unique, indeed, just as I am and just as You, readers, are but there is a very importante point to be considered. This point is what makes the difference between "knowing" and "delusion", so it's an important lesson.
The point is in recognizing your own Uniqueness, not through PRIDE but through LOVE, and also in acknowledging others' own Uniqueness, not as other stars making you shine less, but more as individual lifeforms, with their own right to exist, experience and grow, and as sources of Light that will NOT make your own Light shine less.

The problem we humans have is born of the necessity for "distinction". Existence as an individual (incarnate) soul requires the knowledge of self as oppose to other selves. Thus we took a very long time ago the habit of making disctitions, discriminating between big/small, beautiful/ugly, sweet/bitter, and billions other categories we create to express ourselves and describe the world we live in.
The danger is in not remembering that other "selves" originate from the same source (God or whatever you like to call it) and ARE still connected to each other in SOME way. Just as we are connected with everything else, since we're all made of the same stuff, energy, and that energy is contained is the same huge space, the universe. We are just energy, compacted into matter, evolving in a less dense environment. This is the origin of the Buddhist way of thinking, stating that you should be nice to other lifeforms, because in the end, we are all the same and only thing, but at this point in time, divided into individual souls to experience physical reality. And what a ride!!!

Anyways, back to Uniqueness. However crappy life might be right now, it's still YOUR life... nobody else can live YOUR life... so whatever you do IS unique, and as such is worthy on a universal scale.

BUT, butbutbutbutBUT... here's the trick: History, recorded or not, is loooooooooooooong. People have been here before. People have lived elsewhere before. People have thought or done pretty much anything you can or might think of. Why? Because it's just so f$cking big and ancient!!! There is no way your little daily troubles, or lifelong issues are unique to you, and as such should be allowed as a source of self-pity. Everything, every pain, every joy humans are capable of experiencing HAVE already been experienced by AT LEAST one guy, somewhere between the beginning of the universe and now. If you pride is so big that you still think that in billions of years and billions of billions of incarnations on different worlds and times, YOU managed to have the most beautiful, or most crappy event EVER... well... you have issues.

Now, art creation is okay... you can paint something and think it's the first time somebody created such a marvellous piece. Okay... why not... if it makes you feel good, fine.
BUT, in the negative way, thinking you are unique in your suffering or pride, and that ends up as super-fuel for your ego? Baaaad.... wake up, look around, and smell how fucking big and old Creation is.

<img width='1' height='1'
